If you like good meat, you’ll like The Bull and Last. The whole place screams meat; from the name to the stuffed bulls on the walls and the rustic manly decor. It also has a very warm and inviting atmosphere.
I had lamb rump with artichoke purΓ©e whilst my chums both had onglet steak with chips. There’s no such thing as well done here, got to be a man and have it rare. πͺ
Both tasted really great. My lamb was tender and tasty the artichoke complemented it well.
We shared a dark chocolate mousse with pop corn ice cream for dessert, again of excellent quality.
We paid Β£38 per head (including a glass of wine each). Unsurprisingly I was pretty full when I left, but being opposite Parliament Hill you could always go for lunch before/after a stroll. Highly recommended!
