Named after the King of Pop’s hometown, Gracelands has everything you want in a cafe. There are plenty of tables so queueing isn’t an issue, it’s reasonably priced, the menu is full of choice and the food is delicious. As if that wasn’t enough, there are no parking restrictions in the surrounding roads on weekends. I would imagine that in Elvis’ day this was the norm for a cafe, but in today’s world of ‘walk-ins only’ and arrogant prices, such simple pleasures are hard to find.

I took great enjoyment from my eggs florentine and shared croissant. The menu featured the classic breakfast brunch dishes as well as lunchtime sandwiches and salads.

From memory there was also an extensive toy selection, so a good place to bring younger folk.
